Following action by the OFT, the recent EU directive now allows vehicles within their warranty period to be serviced outside of the franchised dealership, without loss of warranty status. This is where we excel; we can carry out repairs and maintain all makes of vehicles to dealership standards, due to forty years combined experience within the Volvo main dealership, as our in house Volvo Master Technician attends the Volvo training centre technical courses to keep ahead of Volvo product changes.

It is recommended to have your air conditioning checked at least every two years. Vehicles loose about 15% of their refrigerant per year. All vehicle air conditioning systems leak. The losses occur through refrigerant escaping through the pipe joins as a result of vibration and ageing of rubber hoses and 'O' ring seals, as well as through the seal on the front of the compressor shaft. We measure the pressures in the system, check the quality of refrigerant, then recover the refrigerant and vacuum the system. We then Re-Charge (Re-Gas) the system and add a measured amount of lubricant. We also add Ultra Violet dye to help find any leaks that may develop in the future.
